Well hello and welcome! I am going to work very hard to stay on top of the blog this year...I promise! Currently, little Oliver is asleep across my lap...so I can actually get some work accomplished...we'll see how long this holds up!
A brief sketch of next week:
Monday: expect a few more do's and don'ts...we need to talk about computers and Cardinal Three
Tuesday: we are off to Buck Creek for the first time. PLEASE...please...remember to wear appropriate shoes and bring a coat if the weather looks even slightly menacing. It is a one mile hike down to the creek (two miles round-trip)...and there is little to no shelter if it's raining. We are scheduled to leave immediately after lunch.
If you haven't done so already...grab that permission slip out of your backpack and have mom, dad, grandma, etc. sign it...and then put it BACK in your backpack!!
Wednesday: nothing of note yet
Thursday: the RiverPeople return!
We will begin our study of various religions next week...plan to be busy writing and reading as well...we will polish those "I am from..." poems and begin a new writing selection - I'm thinking of "firsts".
